In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Heavenly Father,

You have shown us the profound beauty of giving and the joy that comes from serving others. In Your wisdom, You teach us that it is more blessed to give than to receive, embodying the very essence of generosity and compassion. Today, we bring before You our community of Shelby County, Tennessee, praying for its prosperity, unity, and the well-being of all its residents.

We ask You, Lord, to inspire us to embody Your spirit of generosity. Encourage us to extend our hands and hearts to those in need, to support the weak, and to uplift the vulnerable among us. May our community be marked by acts of kindness, where giving becomes our second nature.

Empower us to work together in service, reflecting Your love in every action we take. Let the bonds of community be strengthened as we share with one another, not just from our abundance, but from our very essence. May this spirit of selflessness bring about a prosperity that enriches not only materially but spiritually and relationally.

Guide our steps, Father, as we seek to make Shelby County a reflection of Your kingdom, where everyone can experience the security and joy of living in a community that cares and shares. Bless our efforts to create a place where every resident knows they are valued and supported.

We place our trust in You, knowing that You are with us, guiding us towards a future where Shelby County flourishes in every way. Lead us to live out Your teachings, finding true blessing in giving and serving as You have shown us.
