Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Heavenly Father,

You are the embodiment of love, the source from which all true love flows. In Your infinite wisdom and grace, You have shown us that to love one another is to know You, for You are love in its purest form. With hearts full of gratitude, we come to You on behalf of Shelby County, Tennessee, asking that Your love would be the foundation upon which our community stands.

We pray for unity and harmony within our borders. May Your love bridge the divides that exist among us, healing old wounds and creating bonds of peace and mutual respect. Let every heart in Shelby County be inspired to love more deeply, reflecting Your love in our actions and attitudes.

Guide us to grow personally and relationally, rooted and grounded in love. Strengthen families, friendships, and all relationships within our community, that they may be examples of Your patience, kindness, and forgiveness.

Motivate us, Lord, to acts of compassion and service. Open our eyes to the needs of those around us, especially the marginalized and vulnerable. May we be Your hands and feet in Shelby County, serving one another with the love that comes from You.

We seek a spiritual renewal across our community, a revival of hearts turned towards You. Draw us closer to You, Lord, as we strive to embody Your love in every aspect of our lives. May this renewal of spirit bring about peace and well-being for all who call Shelby County home.

In everything we do, let love be our guiding principle, for we know that love never fails. We entrust Shelby County to Your loving care, confident in Your provision and protection.
