The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Heavenly Father,
You are patient, merciful, and faithful, not wanting anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance. We bring before You the people of Shelby County, TN, asking for Your loving guidance and grace to be upon us all.
We thank You for Your unwavering patience and kindness. Teach us to embody these virtues in our lives, extending patience and understanding to one another, nurturing a community where love and compassion flourish.
Inspire in us a spirit of inclusivity and unity, reflecting Your desire for everyone to know Your love and salvation. Help us to break down barriers that divide us, encouraging dialogue, reconciliation, and mutual respect among all residents.
We pray for a widespread spiritual awakening across Shelby County, leading individuals and families to a deeper relationship with You. May Your presence in our lives inspire us to turn from ways that are not of You, embracing a path of righteousness and peace.
