Leviticus 19:18 NIV
Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
Heavenly Father,
We bring before You the community of Shelby County, Tennessee. Your Word teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves, to let go of grudges, and to seek peace. We ask You to embed these principles deeply within us.
Lord, guide us to be agents of unity and understanding. Help us to forgive, to show compassion, and to support each other in times of need and joy. May Your love be the foundation of every interaction in our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces.
We pray for the healing of past hurts and misunderstandings within Shelby County. Instill in us the wisdom to resolve conflicts with grace and the strength to build bridges where divisions once stood.
Father, bless our community leaders with the discernment to make decisions that reflect Your love and justice. Let Shelby County be a shining example of what it means to live out Your command to love our neighbors.
We ask these things in the powerful and merciful name of Christ Jesus.
Amen.
