Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God!

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with open hearts, seeking Your divine presence over Shelby County, Tennessee. In moments of discouragement and sadness, Your Word reminds us to place our hope in You. We hold onto this promise for our community.

Lord, we pray for those among us weighed down by despair or sorrow. Infuse their hearts with Your hope, turning their gaze towards Your love and salvation. May they find in You a reason to praise again, experiencing the transformation that Your joy brings.

We ask for a renewal of optimism and strength across our community. In times of challenge or uncertainty, remind us that our hope is securely anchored in You. Let this hope be a beacon, guiding us through any adversity we face.

Encourage us to persist in our faith and worship, drawing from them the strength and comfort we need. In our gatherings and in our solitude, may our spirits be lifted by the assurance of Your love and care.

Strengthen the bonds within our community, Father. As we support and uplift one another, let our shared experiences of seeking You knit us closer, building a resilient and compassionate community.

We thank You for being our source of hope and salvation. Bless Shelby County with Your grace and peace.
