Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with our hearts set on Shelby County, Tennessee. In Your wisdom, You have taught us through Your Word to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good. We embrace this teaching and seek Your guidance to apply it in our community.

Lord, we pray for the strength and courage for Shelby County to stand firm against any form of injustice or negativity. Empower us to respond to challenges not with bitterness or defeat, but with acts of kindness, understanding, and righteousness.

We ask that You inspire our community to engage in positive actions. May every act of generosity and every gesture of goodwill spread further to create an atmosphere of compassion and kindness throughout our county.

Grant wisdom and moral integrity to our leaders. May they lead by example, promoting goodness and fairness in all their decisions and actions. Let their leadership inspire others to also choose goodness over malice.

Cultivate within us, Father, a spirit of resilience. In moments of trial, remind us that the power to overcome adversity lies in our response to it with goodness and virtue.

We thank You for Your unending love and guidance. Bless Shelby County with Your grace, and help us to reflect Your light in our daily lives.
