He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas.

Heavenly Father,

We humbly come to You today, praying for the well-being of Shelby County, Tennessee. In Your Word, You promise to listen to the prayers of the destitute and not to reject their pleas. We hold onto this promise, trusting in Your compassion and care.

Lord, we ask for Your loving attention and intervention for the vulnerable and marginalized in our community. May Your grace and provision reach those in difficult circumstances, bringing them comfort, support, and hope.

We pray for a spirit of justice and equality to permeate Shelby County. Guide our leaders and citizens alike to address the needs of all with fairness and empathy. Help us to build a community where every individual is valued and their voices heard.

Instill in us a sense of solidarity and empathy. Encourage us to be attentive to our neighbors, ready to offer help and support. Let our community be a place of refuge and strength for those in need.

We ask for Your blessing over Shelby County, that it may be a beacon of Your love and compassion. Strengthen us, guide us, and fill us with Your peace.
