It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously toiling for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to seek Your blessing for Shelby County, Tennessee. In Your wisdom, You remind us that endless toil and anxiety are not Your desire for us. We pray for Your rest and peace to envelop our community.

Lord, guide us to find a healthy balance in our lives. Help those among us who are burdened by overwork and stress to experience Your restful peace. Teach us to trust in Your provision, knowing that You care for our every need.

We ask for Your wisdom for all in Shelby County, from our leaders to every resident, that we may make decisions that honor You and bring well-being to our community. In our daily tasks, let us remember that our strength and sustenance come from You.

May our community be a place of harmony, where each person can find the balance between work and rest, under Your loving care. Let us live with gratitude for Your unending support and provision.

We thank You, Father, for watching over Shelby County. We place our trust in Your loving hands.
