You are our defender and protector, the one who fights for us and stands against injustice. Your justice and righteousness shine brightly, and Your love for the helpless brings hope and peace. We praise You for Your unwavering strength and compassion, for You see our struggles and come to our rescue.

We lift up Shelby County, Tennessee, to You today, asking for Your divine protection over every heart and home. Stand as a shield around us, Lord, and guard us from harm. Let Your justice prevail in our community, and protect the vulnerable from those who seek to do wrong.

Fill our hearts with compassion and forgiveness, even toward those who oppose us. Help us to reflect Your love in our interactions, seeking peace and unity in all we do. Let Your spirit of reconciliation flow through our streets, healing broken relationships and bringing us closer together.

We pray for the leaders of Shelby County, that they would seek Your wisdom and lead with integrity and fairness. Guide them in the pursuit of justice and inspire them to care deeply for the needs of all in our community.
