Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today as a community united in our desire for the well-being and prosperity of Shelby County, Tennessee. You are our Shepherd and Guide, teaching us through Your word how to care for one another with compassion and humility.

We ask You, Lord, to inspire our leaders with the wisdom and grace to serve our community selflessly. May they lead not for personal gain but out of a genuine eagerness to serve Your purposes and benefit the people they are called to guide. Help them to embody servant leadership, setting a powerful example through their actions and decisions.

Grant all of us in Shelby County the courage to follow their lead by contributing positively to our community. Encourage us to support each other, to act with kindness and generosity, and to foster an environment where every person can thrive.

Strengthen our bonds, Father, and help us to work together to overcome challenges. Fill our hearts with a spirit of cooperation and our minds with innovative solutions that lead to growth and improvement for all.

We place our trust in You, knowing that You care deeply for this community. Guide us toward a future where peace, prosperity, and happiness abound, reflecting the love and care You have shown us.
