For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You as Your handiwork, crafted with purpose and destined for good works which You have lovingly prepared for us. Today, we lift up Shelby County, Tennessee, seeking Your guidance and blessings as we strive to fulfill the roles You have designed for us within our community.

Empower us, Lord, to recognize and embrace the opportunities You provide for serving and enhancing our community. Inspire each of us to contribute positively, using the talents and abilities You have bestowed upon us to foster growth, healing, and unity.

We ask that You infuse our leaders with wisdom and vision, that they may guide Shelby County according to Your will, creating policies and initiatives that lead to prosperity and peace for all residents. Help us to support one another in love and cooperation, working together to address challenges and celebrate successes.

Grant us the courage and strength to carry out the good works You have set before us. May our efforts be a reflection of Your love and commitment to the well-being of every individual. Let us be a community where everyone is valued and where Your presence is felt in every endeavor.

Keep us steadfast in our faith and diligent in our service. As we pursue the path You have laid out for us, may we always be mindful of Your overarching plan and the role each of us plays in Your divine design.
