Matthew 14:27 NLT

But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here.”

Heavenly Father,

You speak into our fears with words of peace, telling us to take courage because You are here with us. We bring before You today the community of Shelby County, Tennessee, asking for Your continued presence to guide and uplift us.

Grant us, Lord, the courage to face our challenges head-on, trusting that You walk beside us in every moment of uncertainty. May Your reassuring presence bring peace to those who are anxious, strength to those who feel weak, and unity to our community as we navigate the complexities of life together.

We ask You to empower our leaders with wisdom and courage. Help them to make decisions that reflect Your love and justice, contributing to the prosperity and well-being of our community. Inspire all residents of Shelby County to live boldly and compassionately, serving one another and building a stronger community under Your guidance.

Protect us, Father, from the fears that threaten to divide or paralyze us. Instead, let Your peace reign in our hearts, fostering a community where every individual feels valued and supported. May we reflect Your love in our interactions, showing kindness and respect to all.

We place our trust in You, Lord, confident that You are actively working in and through us to bring about a future filled with hope and prosperity.

We offer this prayer in the name of Christ Jesus, our Savior, whose presence assures us of victory over every fear.

Amen.
