And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

Heavenly Father,

You are the potter, and we are the clay, shaped by Your loving hands. You guide us with the tenderness of a Father, nurturing our growth and guiding our steps with wisdom and care. Today, we come before You on behalf of Shelby County, Tennessee, seeking Your continued guidance and blessing for our community.

We thank You, Father, for Your ever-present hand in our lives, molding us individually and collectively according to Your divine purpose. We ask that You would pour out Your spirit of unity and purpose upon Shelby County, drawing us closer as a community and closer to You.

Guide our leaders, Lord, with Your wisdom and insight. May their decisions reflect Your love and justice, creating an environment where prosperity is shared and all can thrive. Inspire us, as residents of Shelby County, to support one another, to seek the common good, and to contribute to the well-being of our community with the gifts You have bestowed upon us.

Grant us the humility to be moldable, open to Your shaping hand in our lives. Help us to see each other through Your eyes, recognizing the value and potential You have placed within each person. Encourage us to build bridges of understanding and cooperation, fostering a community where every individual feels valued and heard.

Protect us, Father, from division and discord. Strengthen our resolve to face challenges with courage and to embrace opportunities with hope, always mindful of Your guiding presence. May Shelby County be a testament to Your grace, a place where love, peace, and prosperity flourish.

We entrust our community to You, confident in Your plans for us. Lead us forward in love and unity, for the flourishing of Shelby County and the glory of Your name.
